[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 경남 고성군이 2027년 국·도비 확보 목표액인 올해 목표액 대비 3.5% 증가된 2900억원으로 잡고 군민 다수에게 실질적으로 필요한 사업을 발굴하기 위해 전 부서장이 팔을 걷어붙이기로 했다.
군은 2026년 역대 최대 규모의 예산 2847억원을 확보하는 성과를 거둔데 이어 2027년도 국·도비 확보 보고회를 열고 본격적인 내년도 국·도비 확보 활동에 나섰다.
보고회는 군민 체감 중심 사업과 자연 재해 예방 사업 등 총 98건 2625억원 중 신규사업 29건에 대한 보고와 사업별 확보전략, 추진상 문제점에 대한 대책 논의가 이뤄졌다.
이번 보고회에 발굴된 주요 신규사업은 △녹명지구 자연재해위험개선지구 정비사업 △송학처리분구 하수관리 정비사업 △하이면 소재지확포장사업 △2027년도 취약지역 생활여건 개조사업 △배둔지구 도시재생 우리동네살리기 △상리면 파크골프장 조성사업 △농업 근로자 기숙사 건립사업 △어업분야 외국인 근로자 주거환경개선 지원사업 △기후대응 쉼터 조성사업이 대표적이다.
이번에 발굴한 사업에 대해서는 중앙부처 예산안이 확정되는 5월까지 지속적인 방문과 설명, 지역 국회의원 및 도의원과 긴밀한 협력관계를 유지해 예산확보에 최선을 다한다.
이어 중앙부처 및 경남도 정책과 연계한 사업을 추가 발굴해 우리군 사업의 필요성을 적극 알리는 등 예산확보 활동에 선제적으로 대응하기로 했다.
군 관계자는 “국도비 예산 확보는 단순히 예산 확보라는 단계를 넘어 지역사회의 지속 가능한 성장을 도모하는 것으로 지역 경제 활성화를 위한 행정의 필수적인 역할이다”며 ”군민이 직접 체감할 수 있는 현안사업 중심으로 신규사업을 추가 발굴해 3월말까지 신청할 계획이다“라고 밝혔다.
