고양특례시 덕양구 원신동은 지난 27일 원신3통 마을회관에서 원신3통 마을회 신년하례회 및 정기총회가 열려 주민과 지역 관계자들이 함께 새해 인사를 나누며 소통과 화합의 시간을 가졌다고 밝혔다.

이날 행사에는 원신동장을 비롯해 마을회 회원과 지역 어르신 등 50여 명이 참석했으며, 정기총회를 통해 2026년을 대비한 마을 운영 방향과 발전 방안에 대해 의견을 공유하는 의미 있는 시간도 함께 진행됐으며
특히 오랜 세월 원신3통을 지켜온 어르신 3명에게 만수무강과 존경의 마음을 담은 장수상이 전달되며 참석자들의 따뜻한 박수를 받았다.
이은우 원신3통 마을회장은 “지금의 원신3통이 존재할 수 있었던 것은 어르신들께서 오랜 시간 쌓아오신 삶의 지혜와 이웃 간의 정이 있었기 때문”이라며 “앞으로도 서로를 살피고 배려하는 따뜻한 마을 공동체를 이어가도록 노력하겠다.”고 말했다.
