‘KB NEED Edu 카드’는 KB국민카드의 신규 상품 브랜드 체계 ‘ALL·YOU·NEED’ 가운데 ‘NEED’ 영역을 대표하는 상품으로, 교육 관련 소비가 많은 고객의 지출 특성을 반영해 설계됐다.
특정 목적성 지출에 혜택을 집중하는 구조를 통해, 고객이 체감할 수 있는 실질적인 할인 혜택을 제공하는 것이 특징이다.
‘KB NEED Edu 카드’는 교육 관련 업종을 중심으로 할인 혜택을 강화했다. 일반 학원 업종은 물론, 학습지 업종까지 할인 대상에 포함했으며, KB Pay 결제 시 추가 혜택을 제공해 교육비 지출에 대한 부담을 줄였다.
교육 업종 외에도 병원·약국·커피 등 생활 밀착형 업종에서도 할인 혜택을 제공해 일상 속 활용도를 높였다.
교육관련 업종과 생활 영역에 혜택이 더해져 월 최대 3만8000원, 연간 최대 45만6000원까지 실질적인 할인 혜택을 누릴 수 있도록 구성했다.
전월 이용실적에 따라 교육관련 업종 결제 금액의 5%가 할인 된다. 40만원 이상 80만원 미만의 경우 최대 1만원까지, 80만원 이상 160만원 미만의 경우 최대 2만원까지, 160만원 이상의 경우 최대 3만원까지 할인 혜택을 제공한다.
아울러 교육관련 업종에서 KB Pay로 결제 시 전월 이용실적 80만원 이상의 경우 5% 교육관련 업종 결제 금액의 최대 3000원까지 추가 할인 혜택을 제공한다.
생활 영역인 병원·약국·커피 업종에서 이용 시 전월 이용실적에 따라 80만원 이상의 경우, 5% 생활 영역 결제 금액의 최대 5000원까지 할인 혜택을 제공한다.
KB NEED Edu 카드의 연회비는 국내전용 2만5000원, 국내외겸용(Visa) 2만6000원이다.
KB국민카드 관계자는 “KB NEED Edu 카드는 교육비처럼 특정 지출이 집중되는 고객의 소비 패턴을 고려해 혜택을 설계한 상품”이라며 “ALL·YOU·NEED 브랜드 체계에 맞춰 고객의 소비 목적에 따라 보다 효율적인 카드 선택이 가능하도록 상품 라인업을 지속 확대해 나갈 계획이다”고 말했다.
