브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 대상은 설 명절을 앞두고 축산환경관리원, 세종시 사회복지협의회와 세종시 사회복지시설에 ‘청정원 1등급 동물복지 청정유정란’ 1만5000알을 기부했다고 29일 밝혔다.
이달 28일 세종시 사회복지협의회에서 열린 기부 물품 전달식에는 문홍길 축산환경관리원장, 김부유 세종시 사회복지협의회장, 이태성 대상 계란BO장 등이 참석했다.
이번 기부 물품 전달은 2023년 대상이 축산환경관리원과 체결한 ‘기업참여를 통한 축산환경개선 기여 업무협약’의 일환으로 진행됐다. 대상은 납품 농가의 시설 개선을 위한 지원과 동시에 정기적인 계란 기부 등 소외 이웃 및 취약 계층을 위한 다양한 상생 활동을 펼치고 있다.
올해는 세종시 소재의 아동센터·요양원·장애인복지관 등 사회복지시설 16개소를 대상으로 농림축산식품부가 인증하는 깨끗한 축산농장(CLF, Clean Livestock Farm) 지정 농가에서 생산한 ‘청정원 1등급 동물복지 청정유정란’ 1만5000알(30구X500팩)을 기부했다.
앞서 대상은 지난 16일 축산환경관리원, 서울시 사회복지협의회와 서울 노인복지센터를 방문해 ‘청정원 1등급 동물복지 청정유정란’과 특허 출원 계사인 정원형 계사 농가에서 생산한 ‘청정원 행복놀이터 동물복지유정란’을 기부하고, 배식 봉사활동을 진행한 바 있다.
이태성 대상 계란BO장은 “새해 첫 명절인 설을 앞두고 소외된 이웃들과 취약 계층을 위해 동물복지, 무항생제 인증을 받은 안전하고 건강한 먹거리 기부로 따뜻한 마음을 나눌 수 있어 기쁘다”며 “앞으로도 친환경 축산농가에 대한 지원과 함께 지역사회를 위한 다양한 나눔 활동을 전개해 친환경 상생 기반 마련에 앞장설 것이다”고 말했다.
