[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 부산시교육청은 공립 중등 수석교사 3명과 중·고·특수학교 교사 1,189명 등 총 1,192명에 대한 정기인사를 오는 3월 1일자로 단행한다고 29일 밝혔다.
시교육청에 따르면 이번 인사 대상은 수석교사 3명(고등학교 1명, 중학교 2명)과 교사 1,189명으로, 중학교 586명, 고등·특수학교 603명이다. 다만 영양교사와 전문상담교사는 이번 인사 대상에서 제외됐으며, 유치원·초등 및 영양·전문상담교사 인사는 다음달 3일 별도 발표될 예정이다.
정기이동으로 새 학교에 부임하는 교사들은 다음달 9일부터 5일간 ‘새 학년 함께 준비하는 달’ 집중운영기간에 참여해 학년별 교육과정과 학교 운영계획을 수립한다. 시교육청은 이 기간을 통해 신학년 교육과정을 안정적으로 운영하고 교육 현장의 준비성을 높인다는 방침이다.
이번 인사에서는 교사의 학교 이동과 휴직 관련 제도 개선도 이뤄졌다. 학교 근무연한(4년)에 포함되는 육아휴직 인정 기간이 기존 3개월에서 6개월로 확대돼 휴직 교사들의 이동 선택권이 강화됐다. 또한 중학교 교사들이 특정 교육지원청(남부·동래·해운대) 관할에서만 장기근무할 경우 북부교육지원청 관할 학교 근무를 의무화했던 ‘북부순환근무제’가 폐지됐다.
김석준 교육감은 “이번 인사는 교사들의 의견을 반영해 투명하고 합리적으로 추진됐다”며 “현장 교원들과 지속적으로 소통하면서 인사제도를 개선하고 교원 인사의 신뢰도를 높여 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.

Busan Metropolitan Office of Education, led by Superintendent Kim Suk-jun, announced Tuesday it will carry out regular personnel transfers for 1,192 public secondary master and regular teachers effective March 1.
The transfers cover three master teachers — one from high school and two from middle school — plus 1,189 regular teachers from middle, high and special schools, the office said in a statement. That includes 586 middle school teachers and 603 from high and special schools; nutritionists and counselors are excluded. Transfers for kindergarten, elementary and those specialist roles will be announced March 3.
Teachers reassigned under the changes will join a five-day intensive period starting Feb. 9 at their new schools to prepare for the new academic year. The office said the "New Semester Preparation Month" will help schools develop education plans and ensure smooth curriculum rollout.
Key updates this round expand parental leave credit within the four-year school service term from three months to six months, giving those teachers more choice in transfers. It also scraps the Northern Rotation Service system, which had required middle school teachers long posted in southern, Dongnae or Haeundae districts to move to northern offices.
Superintendent Kim Suk-jun said the transfers reflect teacher input for transparency and fairness.
