이재명 대통령이 30일 "전통 방식으로 평범하게 좋은 일자리를 창출하는 것엔 한계가 있으니 창업 사회로 가야 한다"고 주장했다.
이 대통령은 이날 오후 청와대에서 'K 스타트업이 미래를 만든다' 주제로 열린 국가창업시대 전략회의 모두 발언에서 "1970·1980년대 사회는 대단한 고도 성장을 해왔고, 평범하게 적정한 기능을 익히고 적정히 학습하며 적당한 보통 직장을 얻으면 별문제 없이 평범하게 정년이 보장되고 걱정 없이 평범하게 인생을 살 수 있었다"며 이같이 말했다.
그러면서 "지금은 완전 바뀌어버렸다"며 "평범함은 존중 받지 못하고 인정 받지 못한 시대가 돼버렸다"고 주장했다.
또 "경기가 회복되고 좋아진다 하는데 정말 특정 소수에게만 그렇다"며 "좋은 일자리라고 대개 대기업·공공기관 몇 군데를 친다"고 했다.
이어 "전체 일자리 중 10~20% 정도만 되고, 나머지는 별로 취직하고 싶지 않은 일자리"라며 "그런 곳은 외국인 노동자들로 채워지거나 차라리 이러느니 쉬고 말겠다는 영역이 엄청 많아진 것 같다"고 했다.
더불어 현대자동차의 AI(인공지능) 로봇 아틀라스 도입을 거론하며 "AI 로봇을 노동 현장에 투입한다 하니 회사는 주가가 올라가고 각광 받는데 현장선 일자리가 없어지니 로봇 설치를 막자는 운동을 한다"며 "일자리를 대체한다 하니 얼마나 공포스럽겠나, 결국 어떻게든 대응해야 하며 결국 방법은 창업"이라고 주장했다.
이 대통령은 "정부도 이 문제를 어떻든 돌파구를 찾아보자 한 게 창업"이라며 "대한민국 국민은 정말 뛰어난 역량을 갖고 있는데 감수성·교육 수준·성실·집요함·손기술·사회적 인프라 등 모든 여건이 (창업에) 아주 좋다"고 주장했다.
