고양특례시가 기록적인 기온 변동폭과 한파에 대비해 취약계층의 안전을 지키는 ‘한파쉼터’ 운영 내실화에 총력을 기울이고 있다.
시는 관내 경로당과 마을회관 등에 지정된 한파쉼터 168개소에 대한 전수점검을 성공적으로 마쳤다고 2일 밝혔다.
이번 점검은 시 재난관리 총괄부서인 재난대응담당관 주관하에 각 동 행정복지센터와 협업하여 지난 1월 15일부터 30일까지 실시됐다.

특히 시는 시민들이 쉼터를 찾을 때 네이버 지도, 카카오맵, '안전디딤돌' 앱 등 민간 포털 서비스를 주로 이용한다는 점에 착안해, 공공개방데이터의 정확성을 대폭 개선했다.
이를 통해 시민들이 실제 현장에서 쉼터 위치나 운영 시간을 오인하는 불편이 없도록 조치했다.
각 동 행정복지센터에서는 현장을 직접 방문해 △한파쉼터 안내표지판 설치 상태 △내부 난방시설 가동 여부 등을 집중 점검했다.
