얼굴·인상·관상은 말과 행동보다 더 정직한 곳이다. 말과 행동은 꾸밀 수 있어도 ‘눈빛의 속도·미간의 응축·입술의 긴장·얼굴의 탁기·윤기’ 등을 숨길 수가 없다. 그래서 얼굴·인상·관상에서는 그 사람이 지금 어떤 생각으로 살고 있는지를 얼굴에서 읽을 수 있는 곳이다. 그래서 얼굴·인상·관상은 그 사람이 어떤 사람으로 태어났는지? 지금 어떻게 살고 있는지? 앞으로 어디로 가고 있는지? 등을 고스란히 드러내는 곳이다.
