이날 발대식에는 서태원 가평군수를 비롯해 가평군의회 의장, 군의원, 대한노인회 가평군지회 관계자 및 일자리 참여 어르신 등 250여 명이 참석해 힘찬 출발을 알렸다. 행사는 사업 소개와 참여자 선서, 직무 교육 순으로 진행되어 참여자들의 책임감과 안전 의식을 고취시켰다.
올해 가평군의 노인일자리 사업은 가평군노인복지관과 대한노인회 가평군지회가 수행기관으로 참여하며, 총사업비 82억 7,800만 원이 투입된다. 참여 인원은 지난해와 비슷한 수준인 1,875명이다.
