경기북부보훈지청이 양평 지역 보훈가족의 복지 향상과 예우 강화를 위해 지역 의회와의 밀착 행보에 나섰다.
경기북부보훈지청은 지난 26일 양평군의회를 방문해 오혜자 의장과 면담을 갖고, 국가보훈정책의 현장 체감도를 높이기 위한 지자체 차원의 지원 방안을 심도 있게 논의했다고 밝혔다.
이번 방문은 보훈 관서와 기초 의회 간의 긴밀한 협력을 통해 국가유공자와 그 유가족들이 실질적으로 체감할 수 있는 지원 체계를 공고히 하기 위해 마련됐다.

면담 자리에서 박용주 지청장은 현재 추진 중인 국가보훈정책의 핵심 골자와 향후 방향성을 상세히 설명했다.
