[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] (재)김해문화관광재단 김해문화의전당이 2026년도 국비 공모사업 2건에 연이어 선정돼 공연 관람 기회 확대와 창·제작 활성화를 아우르는 공연예술 기반을 한층 강화한다.
사업은 공연예술 지역유통 지원사업과 문예회관 특성화 지원사업으로 총 2억 9000만원의 국비를 확보했다.
이에 완성도 높은 우수 공연을 지역에서 만나는 무대부터 새로운 창작 뮤지컬의 초연(初演)까지 ‘유통과 창·제작’이라는 두 축에서 의미 있는 성과를 거뒀다.
올해는 예술경영지원센터가 주최하고 문화체육관광부가 후원하는 ‘2026년 공연예술 지역유통 지원사업’을 통해 국비 1억 4000만 원을 지원받아 다양한 장르의 완성도 높은 작품을 선보인다.
또한 문화체육관광부가 주최하고 한국문화예술회관연합회가 주관하는 ‘2026년 문예회관 특성화 지원사업’을 통해서도 국비 1억 5000만원을 확보하고 ‘소규모 뮤지컬’이라는 장르 특화형 전용 극장화를 추진한다.
(재)김해문화관광재단 이태호 문화예술본부장은 “2026년은 다양한 공연과 실험적인 작품들을 일상처럼 만날 수 있는 공연장이 될 수 있도록 임직원 모두 최선을 다하겠다.”고 전했다.
김해문화의전당은 오는 2월 넷째 주, 2026년 공연 라인업을 공개하고 관객들과 본격적인 만남을 준비할 예정이다.

The Gimhae Arts Center, part of the Gimhae Culture and Tourism Foundation, has been selected for two consecutive national funding projects for 2026, further strengthening its foundation for performing arts by expanding access to performances and revitalizing creative production.
The project secured a total of KRW 290 million in national funding from the Performing Arts Regional Distribution Support Project and the Arts Center Specialization Support Project.
This project has achieved significant results across the two pillars of "distribution and creation/production," from bringing high-quality, high-quality performances to local stages to the premiere of new original musicals.
This year, the center will present high-quality works across a variety of genres with KRW 140 million in national funding through the "2026 Performing Arts Regional Distribution Support Project," hosted by the Korea Arts Management Service and supported by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
