거창군지회는 지난 3일 군청 대회의실에서 구인모 거창군수, 이재운 거창군의회 의장 등 주요 내빈과 읍·면 이장협의회 임원 50여 명이 참석한 가운데 올해 주요 현안을 논의하고 향후 1년간 연합회를 이끌어갈 임원진을 구성했다.
이번 총회의 핵심 안건이었던 임원 선출에서는 12개 읍·면 임원진들의 전폭적인 추대로 박동화 거창읍 회장이 부회장에, 신달성 가조면 회장이 감사에 각각 선임됐다. 새롭게 선출된 임원진은 앞으로 1년간 거창군지회의 내실을 다지고 주민 목소리를 군정에 전달하는 핵심적인 역할을 수행하게 된다.
