세종교육청은 3일부터 4일까지 시교육청교육원에서 영양사와 영양교사 약 150여명을 대상으로 ‘2026년 영양사, 영양교사 직무연수’를 실시했다고 밝혔다.
시 교육청에 따르면 이번 연수는 유치원·학교급식의 투명하고 안정적인 운영을 지원하고, 급식 정보 공유와 상호 소통을 활성화하기 위해 추진됐다.
연수는 현장의 다양한 의견을 나누고 공감대를 형성할 수 있도록 사례 중심의 프로그램을 중심으로 진행됐다.
특히, 급식 청렴교육과 기본 운영계획 안내를 통해 학교급식 운영 전반에 대한 이해도를 높이고, 급식 업무에서의 책임성과 투명성 강화에 중점을 뒀다.
식품의약안전처와 세종시감염병관리지원단의 식중독 예방 교육을 통해 위생관리 역량을 강화해 실질적인 도움이 될 것으로 기대했다.
이를 통해 현장의 다양한 실천 경험을 나누고 급식 운영 노하우를 확산하는 계기를 마련했다는 게 시교육청의 설명이다.
서윤정 교육복지과장은 “이번 연수는 학교급식의 안전성과 신뢰도를 높이기 위한 실질적인 소통의 장이 될 것.”이라며, “앞으로도 영양사, 영양교사의 전문성 강화를 통해 우리 아이들과 학부모들이 안심할 수 있는 세종 학교급식이 되도록 지속적으로 지원하겠다.”라고 말했다.
