경기북부보훈지청이 보훈대상자에 대한 재활 서비스 강화를 위해 국립재활원 견학 프로그램을 실시했다.
지청은 지난 1월 30일 서울 강북구에 위치한 국립재활원에서 보훈공무원과 사회복지사 등 노후복지 인력 11명이 참여하는 견학 프로그램을 진행했다고 밝혔다.
이번 프로그램은 보훈대상자의 삶의 질 향상을 위한 재활 프로그램 확대 수요에 대응하고, 복지현장 담당 실무자들의 재활 현장에 대한 이해도를 높이기 위해 마련됐다.

견학은 국립재활원의 재활 인프라와 보훈대상자의 재활 서비스 연계를 강화하고, 보훈복지 실무자들이 재활의료 분야에 대한 전문 지식과 정보를 현장에서 직접 습득하는 데 초점을 맞춰 진행됐다.
참가자들은 국립재활원 홍보 영상을 시청하며 국립재활원의 역할과 기능을 전반적으로 파악한 뒤, 희망드림관과 열린플랫폼을 비롯해 공공재활의료 지원, 건강보건 연구, 장애예방, 척수손상 재활 등 분야별 주요 시설을 차례로 둘러봤다.
견학 후에는 국립재활원 관계자들과의 간담회를 통해 재활 프로그램과 보훈복지 현장 간 연계 방안, 실무자들이 현장에서 활용할 수 있는 재활 정보 제공 방안 등에 대해 심도 있는 의견을 교환했다.
박용주 경기북부보훈지청장은 "재활의료 현장 실무자들과의 교감을 통해 보훈복지인력들의 재활에 대한 이해와 역량이 크게 향상됐다"며 "앞으로 유관기관과의 협력을 통해 보훈대상자에게 보다 실질적인 맞춤형 복지 서비스를 제공해 나가겠다"고 말했다.

The Gyeonggi Northern Veterans Affairs Office conducted a tour of the National Rehabilitation Center to enhance rehabilitation services for veterans.
The office announced that on January 30th, the tour was held at the National Rehabilitation Center in Gangbuk-gu, Seoul, with 11 veterans and social workers participating.
This program was designed to address the growing demand for expanded rehabilitation programs to improve the quality of life for veterans and to enhance the understanding of rehabilitation services among welfare workers.
The tour focused on strengthening the connection between the National Rehabilitation Center's rehabilitation infrastructure and veterans' rehabilitation services, and on providing veterans and social workers with first-hand knowledge and information on rehabilitation medicine.
