■ 단계동, '정성 가득 찬' 반찬 나눔 협약
원주시 단계동지역사회보장협의체(민간위원장 김주백)는 지난 5일, 관내 음식점인 '솔담집(대표 한순)'과 취약계층 반찬 지원을 위한 업무협약을 체결했다.
이번 협약으로 솔담집은 ‘희망나눔가게’ 제25호점으로 등록됐으며, 직접 만든 정성스러운 반찬을 정기적으로 제공해 식사 해결이 어려운 이웃들을 돕기로 했다.
한순 대표는 “내가 가진 재능으로 이웃에게 따뜻한 밥상을 선물할 수 있어 기쁘다”고 소감을 전했으며, 김주백 위원장은 “어려운 시기임에도 선뜻 나눔에 동참해 준 지역 소상공인들의 봉사가 복지 사각지대를 메우는 큰 힘이 되고 있다”고 감사를 표했다.
■ 원인동, 제일성결교회 라면 50상자 후원

원인동에서는 종교계의 나눔이 빛났다. 원주 제일성결교회(담임목사 이명주)는 지난 6일 원인동지역사회보장협의체에 라면 50상자를 기탁했다.
제일성결교회는 지난 2016년부터 매년 명절마다 라면, 장학금 등을 꾸준히 후원하며 10년 넘게 이웃사랑을 실천해 오고 있다.
이명주 담임목사는 “성도들의 마음을 모아 준비한 라면이 어려운 이웃들에게 작은 위로가 되길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 지역사회와 함께 호흡하며 소외된 곳을 살피는 교회가 되겠다”고 말했다.
