음성을 떠나 수도권에 거주하는 출향인들로 구성된 재경음성군민회는 회원 120여 명이 매년 ‘출향인의 밤’ 행사 참석 등 지역사회와 활발한 교류를 이어오고 있으며, 이번 기부를 통해 고향에 대한 깊은 애정을 다시 한번 보여줬다.
이날 기부금 전달식에서는 김진철 회장과 김락수 부회장을 비롯한 임원 21명이 함께 십시일반으로 모은 정성 어린 기부금이 음성군에 전달됐다.
김진철 회장은 “기부에 동참해 주신 재경음성군민회 임원분들께 감사드린다”며 “앞으로도 고향에 대한 관심과 애정을 잃지 않고 군 발전에 보탬이 될 수 있도록 함께하겠다”고 말했다.
한편 고향사랑기부제는 개인이 주소지 외 지방자치단체에 기부하면 해당 지자체가 주민 복리 증진과 지역 발전 사업에 활용하는 제도다.
기부자에게는 세액공제 혜택과 함께 지역 특산품 등 답례품이 제공된다. 기부는 ‘고향사랑e음’ 누리집 또는 전국 농협은행·농축협 창구, 지정 민간 플랫폼에서 할 수 있다.
