브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 수협중앙회가 설 명절을 앞두고 수산물 물가 안정을 위해 대규모 할인 공급에 나선다.
수협중앙회는 오프라인에서는 정부 비축수산물을 최대 절반 가격으로 공급하고, 온라인에서는 주요 성수품을 최대 60%까지 할인 판매한다고 밝혔다.
10일 노동진 수협중앙회장은 서울 동작구 노량진수산시장을 찾아 상인들과 간담회를 갖고 수산물 유통 동향을 점검했다.
이번 방문은 정부 비축수산물 공급 상황과 현장 가격 흐름을 직접 확인하기 위한 차원에서 이뤄졌다.
수협중앙회는 고등어, 조기 등 정부 비축수산물을 지난해 설보다 2천t 늘린 1만 3천여t을 시중에 방출하기로 했다.
이 물량은 시중가 대비 최대 50% 할인된 가격으로 전통시장과 대형마트, 도매시장 등에 오는 15일까지 공급된다.
노 회장은 이날 비축수산물과 제수용 수산물을 직접 구입하며 현장 가격을 살폈다.
또 수산물 유통과 시장 발전에 기여한 상인들을 격려하기 위해 복주머니 나눔 행사도 진행했다.
복주머니에는 설 격려 엽서와 떡, 핸드크림 등이 담겼으며, 총 500명의 상인에게 전달됐다.
노 회장은 시장 내 온누리상품권 환급행사장도 방문해 운영 실태를 점검했다.
이어 시민들에게 수산물 소비에 적극 참여해 줄 것을 당부했다.
노량진수산시장은 구매 고객을 대상으로 최대 30%, 1인당 2만 원 한도에서 온누리상품권을 환급하는 행사를 오는 14일까지 진행한다.
한편 수협중앙회는 온라인몰 ‘수협쇼핑’에서 이달 22일까지 ‘설 특별전’을 운영한다.
이 기간 동안 전복, 옥돔, 갈치, 민물장어, 굴비 등 국내산 수산물을 할인된 가격에 판매한다.
특히 매주 발급 가능한 20% 할인 쿠폰을 적용하면 최대 2만 원까지 추가 할인이 가능하다.
수협쇼핑 자체 할인까지 더해질 경우 ‘완도활전복 대 실속선물세트(12~14미, 2kg)’는 최대 60% 할인된 가격에 구매할 수 있다.
이 밖에도 제주 명품 특대왕 옥돔 3마리 세트, 제주 명품 대갈치세트, 설악만 자포니카 민물장어 선물세트(2kg)가 40%대 할인으로 판매된다.
또 해양수산부 지원을 받아 시중가 대비 최대 50% 할인한 ‘설 명절 민생선물세트 기획전’도 진행 중이다.
기획전에는 굴비, 갈치, 자숙전복, 고등어, 멸치, 김 선물세트 등 선물 수요가 높은 품목들이 포함됐다.
수협중앙회는 이번 대책을 통해 설 명절 수산물 물가 안정과 소비 촉진에 기여하겠다는 방침이다.
