효성중공업은 미국 유력 송전망 운영사와 약 7,870억 원 규모의 765kV 초고압변압기와 리액터 등 전력기기 공급 계약을 체결했다고 10일 밝혔다. 이는 미국 시장에 진출한 한국 전력기기 기업 중 단일 프로젝트 기준 역대 최대 수주 규모다.

한편 효성중공업은 2025년 매출 5조 9,685억 원, 영업이익 7,470억 원을 기록하며 사상 최대 실적을 달성했다. 글로벌 수주잔고는 11조 9천억 원으로 전년 대비 약 34% 증가했다.
