10일 원주시에 따르면 노동조합, 군부대, 직능단체 등 각계각층에서 관내 소외된 이웃을 위한 기부 행렬에 동참했다.
먼저 만도노동조합 원주지부는 지난 9일 문막읍 행정복지센터를 찾아 지역 어르신들을 위한 통 큰 나눔을 실천했다. 노조 측은 470만 원 상당의 백미(10kg) 84포와 라면 84박스를 기탁했으며, 해당 물품은 문막읍 관내 경로당 42개소에 골고루 전달될 예정이다. 김택수 지부장은 “조합원들의 정성이 어르신들에게 작은 위로가 되길 바란다”며 지역 상생을 약속했다.

원주 하늘을 지키는 제8전투비행단 군무원단도 이웃 사랑에 힘을 보탰다. 군무원단은 지난 9일 소초면 지역사회보장협의체에 후원금 50만 원을 전달하며, 매년 이어오던 선행을 지속했다. 홍종빈 소초면장은 “국방의 의무와 더불어 지역사회의 든든한 버팀목이 되어주시는 군무원단에 감사드린다”고 전했다.

흥업면새마을회는 직접 만든 음식으로 따뜻한 정을 나눴다. 회원 20여 명은 지난 9일 흥업면 다목적복지센터에 모여 손수 빚은 만두 2,000개와 떡국 떡으로 구성된 나눔 세트를 제작했다. 이날 준비된 음식은 새터민, 다문화가정, 독거노인 등 60가구에 전달되어 명절 분위기를 북돋웠다.
