【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 진천군 면 소스 전문 기업 (주)면사랑(대표 정세장)은 진천군청을 방문해 설 명절을 맞아 백미 2천kg(670만원 상당)을 기탁했다고 10일 밝혔다.
이번 기부는 민족 대명절인 설을 앞두고 경제적 어려움을 겪고 있는 소외계층에 실질적인 도움을 전달하기 위해 마련됐다.
면사랑은 명절 정기 기부 외에도 평소 다양한 방식의 사회공헌 활동을 통해 ‘나눔 경영’을 실천하고 있다.
특히, 지역복지시설 후원, 저소득층 식품 지원 등 소외된 이웃을 살피는 활동을 다각도로 전개하며, 기업의 사회적 책임을 다하는 데 앞장서고 있다.
임찬원 ㈜면사랑 공장장은 “설을 앞두고 전달된 쌀이 우리 이웃들이 따뜻한 명절을 보내는 데 작은 보탬이 되길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 꾸준한 기부와 진정성 있는 사회공헌 활동을 통해 지역사회의 든든한 버팀목이 되겠다”고 말했다.
한편, ㈜면사랑에서 기탁한 백미는 충청북도사회복지공동모금회를 통해 관내 저소득층에게 전달될 예정이다.

같은 날 국제로타리 3740지구 충북혁신로타리클럽(7대 회장 정영훈)은 설 명절을 앞두고 진천군청을 방문해 돼지고기(돼지 1마리 분량)와 두부 20kg을 기탁했다.
