[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 밀양시는 통합돌봄으로 퇴원환자 돌봄 공백 최소화를 위해 10일 밀양병원 및 제일병원과 ‘퇴원환자 지역사회 연계’ 업무 협약을 체결했다.
오는 3월 27일부터 시행되는 ‘의료·요양 등 지역 돌봄의 통합지원에 관한 법률’에 맞춰진 이번 협약은 ‘밀양시 통합돌봄사업’ 특화서비스 중 하나인 퇴원환자 지역사회 연계사업이다.
이에 치료를 마치고 퇴원하는 환자 가운데 돌봐줄 가족이 없거나 골절·낙상 등으로 거동이 불편해 일상 복귀에 어려움을 겪는 시민을 대상으로 필요한 돌봄서비스를 제공하기 위해 마련됐다.
협약을 맺은 의료기관은 입원 단계부터 돌봄이 필요한 대상자를 선제적으로 발굴한다. 환자의 신체 상태와 돌봄 욕구를 평가해 시 통합돌봄TF팀으로 의뢰하면, TF팀은 신속히 통합지원회의를 통해 개인별 지원계획을 수립한다.
이후 대상자에게 가사지원, 식사배달 등 상황에 따른 맞춤형 서비스를 연계할 계획이다.
한편, 통합돌봄사업은 노쇠, 장애, 질병 등으로 혼자서 일상생활이 어려운 시민이 시설이나 병원에 가지 않고 살던 곳에 계속 거주하며 건강하게 노후를 보낼 수 있도록 필요한 돌봄서비스를 통합적으로 지원하는 제도이다.
주요 서비스로는 △방문의료 △퇴원환자 지역사회연계 △일상생활돌봄(가사, 방문목욕, 식사지원) △클린버스 및 대청소 △주거환경개선사업 등이 있다.
