[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 밀양시가 원도심 상권의 자생력 강화 및 활성화를 위해 5개 상인회 등 관계자들과 간담회를 10일 개최했다.

이번 간담회는 경기 침체와 소비 패턴의 변화로 어려움을 겪고 있는 소상공인들의 애로사항을 청취하고, 시와 상인회 등 관계기관이 협력하여 원도심에 활력을 불어넣을 실질적인 대책을 마련하기 위해 진행됐다.

이날 행사에는 안병구 밀양시장을 비롯해 밀양햇살상권 상권활성화추진단, 밀양아리랑시장상인회, 밀양아리랑시장 내일상인회, 동가리상가번영회, 내일동 중심상가회, 대학로 중심상가회 관계자 등 20여 명이 참석했다.

참석자들은 △전통시장 현대화 및 환경 개선 △원도심 상권 특성화 전략 △고객 유입을 위한 마케팅 강화 등 원도심의 활성화 방안을 논의했다.

상인회 관계자들은 “위축된 원도심 상권에 활력을 불어넣기 위해서는 단순한 시설 지원을 넘어 젊은 층과 관광객이 찾아올 수 있는 소프트웨어 중심의 지원이 절실하다”고 입을 모았다.
