길종성 독도사랑회 회장 국민의힘 국민통합위원 임명

대한민국독도연대회의 의장이자 사단법인 영토지킴이독도사랑회 중앙회장인 길종성 회장이 지난 4일 국민의힘 국민통합위원으로 임명되었다.

이날 열린 임명장 수여식에서 장동혁 대표최고위원은 국민통합의 중요성을 강조하며 위원들에게 임명장을 수여했다.

수여식에는 장 대표를 비롯해 조배숙 국민통합위원장, 부위원장인 염태영·임종득 국회의원, 그리고 새롭게 위원으로 위촉된 길종성·임석삼·이지명 위원 등 25명이 참석했다.

조배숙 국민통합위원장은 국민통합은 정치, 사회, 문화 등 세대와 계층, 지역 전반에 걸쳐 반드시 필요한 요소라고 언급하며, 위원들이 통합을 위한 좋은 정책과 아이디어를 제안해 주는 등 적극적인 역할을 해달라고 당부했다.

국민통합위원으로 임명된 길종성 위원은 제20대 대통령 직속 국민통합위원회 경기도 협의회 1·2기 회장을 역임하는 등 통합 관련 분야에서 꾸준히 활동해온 인물이다.
