<브레이크 뉴스 의정부=이용하 기자> 의정부시 송산2동주민센터는 지난 11일, 주민들을 위한 문화전시 공간인 ‘송2갤러리’에서 2026년 첫 전시를 본격적으로 시작했다고 밝혔다.

‘송2갤러리’는 평범한 주민센터 청사 1층부터 3층까지 이어지는 계단 옆 벽면을 생활 밀착형 문화공간으로 탈바꿈시킨 곳이다. 평소 문화시설을 찾기 어려운 주민들이 민원 업무를 보거나 이동하는 과정에서 자연스럽게 예술 작품을 감상할 수 있도록 기획되어 지난해부터 큰 호응을 얻고 있다.

올해 첫 전시의 주인공은 송산2동 주민자치센터 프로그램인 ‘감성 오일파스텔화’ 수강생들이다. 전시된 작품들은 수강생들이 그동안 갈고닦은 기법을 바탕으로 우리 주변의 일상과 아름다운 자연을 각자의 개성을 담아 따뜻하게 표현해 냈다.

특히 올해부터는 주민센터 방문이 어려운 주민들도 작품을 감상할 수 있도록 편의를 넓혔다. 송산2동 주민센터 공식 카카오톡 채널을 통해 ‘송2갤러리 온라인 전시’를 병행 운영하며, 시공간의 제약 없이 누구나 예술을 향유할 수 있는 환경을 조성했다.
황보경 송산2동장은 “송2갤러리는 주민들이 직접 만든 창작 결과물을 지역사회와 다시 공유한다는 점에서 매우 뜻깊은 공간”이라며, “앞으로도 주민들이 일상 속에서 문화를 체감할 수 있도록 창작과 공유의 기회를 지속적으로 확대해 나가겠다”고 전했다.
