진에어는 지난 11일 서울 강서구 등촌9종합사회복지관에서 에어부산, 에어서울과 함께 설 맞이 명절음식 나눔 봉사활동을 진행했다고 12일 밝혔다.
이번 활동은 한진그룹 LCC의 사내 봉사 동호회 소속 직원들이 지역 내 어려운 이웃에게 온정을 전하기 위해 마련됐으며, 올해로 2년째 이어오고 있다.
이날 복지관에 모인 40여명의 직원들은 직접 만두를 빚고 물품을 배달하며 이웃 사랑을 실천했다. 설 명절 대표 음식인 만두를 만들어 ‘떡만둣국 키트’를 제작했다. 이어 생활용품 등을 담은 선물 꾸러미를 들고 지역 내 이웃 100가구를 직접 찾아가 전달하며 온기를 나눴다.
진에어 관계자는 “임직원들의 자발적 참여로 마련된 이번 나눔 활동이 이웃들에게 작은 위로와 기쁨이 되길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 지역사회와 함께하는 다양한 사회공헌 활동을 지속적으로 이어가겠다”고 말했다.
