한국농어촌공사 고양지사가 지역 농업인과의 소통을 강화하고 농지은행사업의 혜택을 알리기 위해 현장 홍보에 나섰다.
고양지사는 13일 일산시장을 방문하여 상인과 시민들을 대상으로 농지은행사업 홍보 캠페인을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

이번 행사는 농업인들에게 실질적인 도움이 되는 다양한 농지 지원 제도를 직접 안내하기 위해 마련되었다.
고양지사는 올해 농지연금사업비로 총 72억 원을 확보했다.
이는 농지를 담보로 매월 일정 금액을 연금처럼 지급받는 제도로, 고령 농업인들이 이직이나 은퇴 후에도 안정적인 노후 생활을 영위할 수 있도록 돕는 사회안전망 역할을 하고 있다.
또한, 농지임대수탁사업을 통해 농지 이용 효율을 높이는 동시에, 확보된 농지를 청년 농업인들에게 우선 지원함으로써 미래 농업 인력의 성공적인 농촌 정착을 적극적으로 추진하고 있다.
김이부 고양지사장은 “농지은행사업을 통해 고령 농업인의 소득 안정망을 튼튼히 구축하고, 열정을 가진 청년 농업인들이 농촌에 안정적으로 뿌리내릴 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”며, “앞으로도 현장의 목소리에 귀 기울이며 지역 농업 발전에 앞장설 것”이라고 강조했다.
