<브레이크뉴스 의정부 = 이용하 기자> 의정부시 녹양종합사회복지관이 지난 1년 동안 지역사회의 소외된 이웃을 위해 묵묵히 헌신해 온 후원자와 자원봉사자들에게 특별한 ‘별이 빛나는 밤’을 선물했다.
사회복지법인 사랑교육복지재단이 수탁 운영하는 녹양종합사회복지관은 지난 12일 의정부CGV 5관에서 ‘제4회 후원자·자원봉사자 감사의 밤 - 별이 빛나는 밤에’ 행사를 성황리에 개최했다.
이날 행사에는 지난 한 해 동안 나눔을 실천해 온 후원자와 자원봉사자 165명을 비롯해 김동근 의정부시장, 김연균 의정부시의회 의장, 장수봉 조국혁신당 의정부시 지역위원장, 김정영·오석규 경기도의원, 김성일 사랑교육복지재단 이사장 등 주요 내빈이 참석해 자리를 빛냈다. 임태희 경기도교육감은 축전을 통해 축하의 뜻을 전했다.
행사는 임종학 자원봉사자의 재능기부로 제작된 영상 ‘히어로’ 상영으로 시작됐다. 영상에는 지난 1년간 복지관 곳곳에서 활약한 봉사자들과 후원자들의 활동 모습이 담겨 참석자들에게 잔잔한 감동을 선사했다. 이어 영화 ‘왕과 사는 남자’를 함께 관람하며 그간의 노고를 위로하고 재충전하는 시간을 가졌다.
특히 이날 행사에서는 지역사회 복지 증진에 기여한 우수 후원자와 자원봉사자, 유관기관 등 총 24명(팀)에게 표창이 수여됐다. 수상자 명단은 다음과 같다.
