브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 더불어주당은 15일 논평을 통해 이재명 대통령의 다주택자 대출 연장 문제 제기를 두고 공세에 나선 국민의힘을 겨냥해 “설 민심도 아랑곳없이 부동산 투기꾼들이 하고 싶은 말들만 쏙쏙 골라 하는 것이 마치 부동산 불로소득 지키기에 당의 명운을 건 듯하다”고 비판했다.
김현정 민주당 원내대변인은 이날 서면 브리핑에서 “국민의힘이 대통령을 시정잡배에 비교하고, 대통령의 메시지를 말장난으로 치부하는 등 상식 밖의 작태를 벌이고 있다”며 이같이 밝혔다.
이어 “저열한 표현까지 동원하며 국민이 선출한 대통령을 공격하는 모습 이면에 ‘내 다주택은 반드시 내가 지킨다’는 집념이 느껴진다”고 주장했다. 그러면서 장동혁 국민의힘 대표를 언급하며 “주택 6채를 보유한 다주택자”라고 지적했다. 또한 “국민의힘 국회의원들 중 10명 중 4명이 다주택자로 모두 42명에 달한다”고도 했다.
김 원내대변인은 “본인들 다주택에는 ‘입꾹닫’하고, 1주택자인 이재명 대통령이 퇴임 후 돌아갈 하나 있는 집을 팔지 않는다고 비난하는 모습은 경이로울 정도”라며 “최강의 철면이자 자기 합리화의 끝판왕”이라고 비판 수위를 높였다.
아울러 국민의힘이 당명 개정을 검토 중인 점을 거론하며 “제1야당의 고민을 덜어드리는 차원에서 당명 하나 추천드린다”고 밝혔다. 그는 “국민의힘이 지키고자 하는 가치와 당의 지향점을 온전히 담았다”며 “‘부동산불로소득지킨당’”이라고 덧붙였다.
