국제선 회복이 본격화되면서 더욱 다양한 해외노선을 이용할 수 있게 되고, 물류·관광 산업에도 활력이 더해질 것으로 기대된다.
국토교통부가 2025년 한 해 동안 우리나라 하늘길을 이용한 항공교통량을 집계한 결과, 전년 대비 6.8% 증가한 총 101만여 대를 기록, 사상 처음으로 연간 100만 대를 돌파했다.
이는 하루 평균 2778대의 항공기가 우리나라 하늘을 오간 것으로, 코로나-19 이전 최고치였던 2019년(84만여 대)을 약 20% 상회하는 역대 최대 수준이다.
