파주문화재단이 오는 2월 27일 오후 7시 문산행복센터 대공연장에서 2026년 기획공연 해설이 있는 클래식 음악, 이야기를 만나다를 개최한다.

이번 공연은 지역 연주 단체와 전문 해설이 어우러져 시민들이 클래식 음악을 쉽고 친근하게 접할 수 있도록 기획됐다.
음악, 이야기를 만나다는 클래식 음악 속에 숨겨진 이야기를 따라가며 작품을 이해하는 해설 중심의 음악회이며 어려운 이론이나 형식 대신 음악에 담긴 서사와 감정을 중심으로 감상하는 새로운 형식을 선보인다.
음악감독 겸 지휘자 서진의 지휘와 음악평론가 장일범의 해설이 더해져 관객들이 작곡가의 의도와 음악이 묘사하는 장면을 자연스럽게 이해하도록 돕는다.
이번 무대는 헤이리 예술마을을 중심으로 활동하며 지역 문화 예술의 정체성을 확장해 온 헤이리 챔버 오케스트라가 이끌며 여기에 소프라노 이상은과 바리톤 박진수가 협연자로 나서 노래와 연주를 통해 작품의 분위기를 더욱 생생하게 전달할 예정이다.
공연 프로그램은 비발디 사계 중 겨울을 비롯한 서양 클래식 작품과 한국 가곡 뱃노래 등으로 구성됐으며 시대와 문화에 따른 음악적 표현의 차이를 비교하며 감상할 수 있어 관객들의 재미와 이해를 동시에 높일 것으로 보인다.

Paju Cultural Foundation to Host Classical Music, Meet the Story
The Paju Cultural Foundation will host its 2026 planned performance, "Classical Music, Meet the Story," with commentary, on February 27th at 7:00 PM at the Munsan Happiness Center Grand Performance Hall.
This performance, combining local performing groups with expert commentary, is designed to provide citizens with an accessible and accessible experience with classical music.
"Music, Meet the Story" is a commentary-centered concert that explores the hidden stories within classical music, offering a new format for appreciation, focusing on the narrative and emotions embedded within the music rather than difficult theory or formality.
The performance will be led by music director and conductor Seo Jin and accompanied by commentary by music critic Jang Il-beom, helping the audience naturally understand the composer's intentions and the scenes depicted in the music.
The Heyri Chamber Orchestra, a prominent presence in the Heyri Art Village and a key player in expanding the identity of local culture and arts, will lead the performance. Soprano Lee Sang-eun and baritone Park Jin-su will join as collaborators, bringing the work's atmosphere to life through song and performance.
The performance program features Western classical pieces, including Vivaldi's "Winter" from "The Four Seasons," and Korean folk song "Boat Song." The program allows audiences to compare and appreciate the differences in musical expression across eras and cultures, enhancing both enjoyment and understanding.
Kim Young-jun, CEO of the Paju Cultural Foundation, expressed his hope that citizens will become familiar with classical music through the fusion of music and storytelling.
