<브레이크뉴스 의정부 = 이용하 기자> 의정부시가 지역 청년들을 겨냥해 일상 속 동네 여행을 장려하는 이색 공모전을 펼친다. 청년들의 톡톡 튀는 감성으로 지역 명소를 알리고 여행 지원금까지 챙길 수 있는 ‘의정부 동네여행 챌린지’가 그 주인공이다.
24일 의정부시에 따르면, 이번 사업은 청년들의 문화·여행 참여 기회를 확대하는 동시에 의정부 곳곳에 숨겨진 매력을 발굴해 널리 알리고자 기획된 주민 참여형 프로그램이다.
참가 대상은 의정부시에 거주하는 19세에서 39세 사이의 청년으로, 개별 참여는 물론 2~3인으로 구성된 팀 단위로도 신청이 가능하다. 참가자들은 지역 내 명소나 핫플레이스를 직접 탐방한 뒤, 여행 후기를 비롯한 사진·영상 등의 다채로운 SNS 콘텐츠를 제작해 지역을 홍보하는 역할을 맡게 된다.
콘텐츠 제작 및 여행 기간은 다가오는 3월 3일부터 6월 30일까지며, 완성된 콘텐츠의 공모 접수는 7월 1일부터 15일까지 보름간 진행된다. 의정부시는 출품된 콘텐츠를 심사해 최종 선정자를 발표할 예정이며, 선정된 청년(팀원 포함)에게는 1인당 10만 원의 쏠쏠한 여행지원금이 지급된다.
도전을 희망하는 청년은 의정부시청 누리집 고시·공고란에서 지원신청서를 내려받아 꼼꼼히 작성한 뒤, 지정된 전자우편(ytls123@korea.kr)으로 제출하면 된다.
의정부시 관계자는 “이번 동네여행 챌린지가 지역 청년들에게는 일상 속 여행의 즐거움을 선사하고, 나아가 의정부만의 독요한 매력을 외부로 널리 알리는 긍정적인 계기가 되기를 기대한다”고 전했다.
