‘일본의 다케시마의 날 지정’ 규탄,고양시 독도홍보관서 성명 발표

사단법인 영토지킴이독도사랑회는 지난 22일 오전 고양시 독도홍보관에서 일본 정부의 ‘다케시마의 날’ 지정과 독도 영유권 주장에 대해 강력히 규탄하는 성명서를 발표했다.

이날 행사에는 길종성 중앙회장을 비롯해 청소년 회원 40여 명이 참석해 독도홍보관을 둘러보고, 독도 특강과 홍보관 정비활동을 함께하며 독도수호 의지를 다졌다.

일본은 지난 20일 국회 외교연설에서 독도에 대한 망언을 내놓은 데 이어, 22일 열린 ‘다케시마의 날’ 행사에 차관급 정무관을 파견해 또다시 도발적인 행보를 이어갔다. 

시마네현은 2005년 2월 22일을 ‘다케시마의 날’로 조례 제정한 이후 지속적으로 독도 침탈 의도를 드러내 왔으며, 일본 정부는 2013년부터 매년 중앙정부 차관급 인사를 파견해 우리 국민과 독도단체들의 거센 비판을 받아왔다.
