<브레이크뉴스 의정부 = 이용하 기자> 의정부시 보건소 치매안심센터가 관내 치매 어르신들의 든든한 울타리로 나선다. 센터는 치매 중증화를 예방하고 일상생활 유지 능력을 높이기 위한 2026년 상반기 인지자극 프로그램 ‘기억몽글교실 1기’ 참여자를 모집한다고 24일 밝혔다.
이번 ‘기억몽글교실’은 치매 진단을 받은 노인들에게 전문적인 인지자극 훈련과 세심한 돌봄을 제공해, 잔존하는 인지 기능을 최대한 보존하고 삶의 질을 향상시키고자 마련된 맞춤형 쉼터 프로그램이다.
교육 과정은 어르신들의 눈높이에 맞춘 다채로운 활동으로 꽉 채워졌다. 교재와 교구를 활용한 두뇌 자극 훈련을 비롯해 ▲회상 및 현실인식 훈련 ▲중앙치매센터 개발 ‘반짝활짝 뇌운동’ ▲의정부시 체육회 연계 생활체육 ▲원예치료 ▲웃음치료 등 스트레스 완화와 인지 기능 향상에 효과적인 커리큘럼이 제공된다.
