[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 함안군은 농업기술센터 내 먹거리통합지원센터에서 2026년 원예 분야 지원사업 대상자를 선정하기 위한 심의회를 열었다고 24일 밝혔다.
이번 심의에는 심의위원 5명이 참석해 시설원예 현대화 지원 등 39개 사업의 대상자를 선정하고, 총 83억 6000만원을 지원하기로 했다.
주요 사업은 시설원예 경쟁력 향상을 위한 현대화 지원 등 14개 사업에 16억 3,500만원, 수박 및 노지채소 경쟁력 강화를 위한 수정벌 지원 등 9개 사업에 7억 4,800만원을 지원한다.
또한 과수 경쟁력 강화를 위한 고품질 시설현대화 지원 등 9개 사업에 56억 3,000만원, 농산물 유통 지원과 지역 농산물 판로 확대를 위한 신선농산물 글로컬 농가 육성 지원 등 7개 사업에 3억 4,700만원을 지원한다.
군은 이번 사업으로 원예 농가의 생산 기반을 개선하고 유통을 활성화해 농가 경쟁력을 높일 계획이다.
함안군 원예유통과 관계자는 “기후변화로 예측이 어려운 농업 현장 여건과 농촌인구감소, 일손 부족 등 여러 어려움 속에서도 함안 농업의 경쟁력을 높일 수 있도록 꾸준한 지원 방안을 마련하겠다”고 말했다.
