[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 남해군은 지역농협 간 협력체계를 구축해 농어촌 기본소득 시범사업의 성공적인 정착을 위해 동남해농협, 새남해농협, 창선농협과 업무협약을 체결했다.
이번 협약은 농림축산식품부의 농어촌 기본소득 시범사업 시행지침에 따라, 면지역 하나로마트의 조건부 사용 허용과 지역사회 환원활동을 구체화하기 위해 마련됐다.
또한 협약을 통해 기본소득 사용으로 발생한 지역 내 소비가 다시 지역사회로 환원되는 선순환 구조를 구축하기 위해 추진됐다.
군과 3개 지역농협은 농어촌 기본소득 시범사업과 관련한 정책 정보를 상호 공유하고, 주민 이용 편의 증진을 위한 운영 전반에 대해 협력하기로 했다.
특히 사업 시행 과정에서 발생하는 현장 의견을 공동으로 점검하며, 제도 운영의 완성도를 지속적으로 높여 나갈 계획이다.
아울러 기본소득 사용으로 발생한 매출의 일부를 지역사회 환원 재원으로 기부하고, 각 농협의 여건에 맞는 지역 맞춤형 상생활동을 단계적으로 확대 추진하기로 합의했다.
이를 통해 농어촌 기본소득이 지역경제 활성화와 공동체 회복으로 이어질 수 있도록 협력을 강화할 방침이다.
장충남 남해군수는 “지역 농협과의 협력을 통해 주민 이용 편의를 높이고, 농어촌 기본소득이 지역 순환경제 활성화에 마중물이 되도록 하겠다”고 밝혔다.
이에 지역농협 조합장은 “기본소득이 지역 주민의 생활 안정에 실질적인 도움이 될 수 있도록 상생활동을 적극 추진하고, 주민 이용 편의 증진과 지역경제 활성화에 협력하겠다”고 밝혔다.
