파주시 금촌2동은 의료와 돌봄 공백을 해소하기 위한 통합돌봄 이음 서비스를 3월부터 본격적으로 시행한다.

이번 서비스는 긴급 상황에서 병원 방문이 어렵거나 진료 후 회복 단계에서 돌봄이 단절되는 문제를 해결하기 위해 마련됐다.
금촌2동이 추진하는 핵심은 이송, 진료, 회복 단계를 하나로 묶는 원스톱 통합 지원 체계이며 위기 상황이 확인되면 즉시 서비스를 연결해 의료기관 이송부터 진료 연계, 재활 및 일상 복귀까지 지원한다.
첫 번째 단계인 맞춤형 의료이송 지원은 이동 수단이 없거나 보호자가 없어 방치된 주민을 대상으로 한다.
맞춤형복지팀이 현장에서 긴급성을 판단하면 사회복지법인 대한인명구조단과 연계된 구급차가 출동하며 최근 치매를 앓는 80대 노인이 보호자 없는 위기 상황에서 이 서비스를 통해 안전하게 의료기관으로 이송되어 치료를 받은 사례가 대표적이다.
