고양특례시 일산서구 주엽2동 행정복지센터는 지난 2월 19일부터 23일까지 주거취약계층을 대상으로 민관협력 저소득층 주거환경개선사업을 추진하며 나눔 실천에 앞장섰다.

이번 사업 대상 가구는 물품 과다 적치와 중증 장애로 인해 자립적인 생활 관리가 어려운 상황이 지속되면서 주거환경이 크게 악화된 상태였다.
이에 주엽2동 행정복지센터를 중심으로 고양시문촌9종합사회복지관, 고양시장애인종합복지관 등 복지기관과 다양한 민간업체 및 봉사단체가 힘을 모아 주거환경 개선에 나섰다.
행복세움센터는 물품 분류 및 반출을 지원했으며 수창기업은 재활용품 처리를 맡아 폐기물 정리에 힘을 보탰으며 또한 한소망교회 주거환경개선팀, 빅스타클린, 자리찾기 등 다양한 업체와 단체에서 재능기부를 통해 도배와 장판 교체, 청소 및 정리정돈 작업을 진행하며 쾌적한 주거공간을 조성했다.
참여 기관과 단체들은 청소와 정리정돈, 폐기물 반출, 소독비 지원 등을 실시하며 주거 환경 개선에 힘을 모았으며 이번 사업을 통해 장기간 방치됐던 물품과 폐기물이 정리되고 위생환경이 개선되면서 대상 가구에 안전하고 쾌적한 생활 공간이 마련됐다.
