고양소방서는 지난 23일 오전 11시경 북한산 대동사 인근에서 발목을 다친 등산객 1명을 신속히 구조했다고 밝혔다.

이번 사고는 20대 여성 A씨가 정상에서 하산하던 중 돌부리에 걸려 넘어지며 발목을 접질러 발생했다.
A씨는 잠시 휴식을 취한 뒤 스스로 하산을 시도했으나 우측 발목 통증이 심해 거동이 어려워지자 119에 구조를 요청했다.
고양소방서 구조대원 9명과 구급대원 2명은 북한산국립공원 관계자들과 협력해 사고 지점으로 신속히 이동했다.
현장에서 A씨의 상태를 확인한 구조대는 응급처치를 실시한 뒤 들것을 이용해 안전하게 하산 조치했으며 이후 A씨는 구급차를 통해 인근 병원으로 이송돼 추가 치료를 받았다.
박기완 고양소방서장은 “산행 전 충분한 준비운동과 안전수칙 준수가 무엇보다 중요하다”고 강조했으며 이어 “산악사고 예방과 신속한 대응 역량 강화를 위해 지속적으로 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
