【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 진천군 대표 거점 의료기관인 진천중앙제일병원이 충북 도내 군 단위 지방정부 최초로 지역응급의료센터로 승격되며 지역 의료공백 해소에 중추적인 역할을 수행하고 있다.
지난 1월 19일 지역응급의료센터로 승격한 진천중앙제일병원은 설 명절 연휴 기간 24시간 비상 응급의료 체계를 가동하며 지역민들의 건강과 안전을 지켰다.
연휴 기간 응급실에는 전문의 5명을 비롯한 간호 인력 등 전문 의료진을 보강 배치하고, 첨단 응급의료 장비를 집중 투입했다.
