[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시는 25일 지역 주민들의 오랜 숙원사업이었던 ‘여좌 국민체육센터’ 준공식을 성황리에 개최했다.
이날 행사에는 장금용 창원특례시장 권한대행과 손태화 시의회 의장을 비롯해 지역 주민 200여 명이 참석해, 2년 6개월간의 기다림 끝에 완성된 시설을 직접 확인하며 높은 기대감을 나타냈다.
총사업비 367억 원이 투입된 여좌 국민체육센터는 연면적 8,324㎡(지하 1층~지상 4층) 규모로, 단일 체육시설로는 지역 내 최고 수준의 인프라를 자랑한다. 특히 지역 주민들의 선호도를 정밀 분석해 반영한 시설 구성이 돋보인다.
