[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] ‘우주항공 방산용 실란트 초격차 기술개발 및 실증사업’ 컨소시엄 관계자들이 성공적인 사업 추진을 다짐하기 위해 25일 양산시를 찾았다.
이번 방문에는 한국건설생활환경시험연구원, 경남테크노파크, 노루페인트, 새론테크 등 주요 참여기관 및 기업관계자 10여명이 참석했다.
이들은 당초 정부 예산안에 48억여원만 반영됐던 국비를 양산시와 지역국회의원의 적극적인 노력으로 25억원을 추가 증액, 총 73억2600만원을 확보한 것에 감사를 전하며 성공적인 사업 추진을 위한 결의를 다졌다.
해당 사업은 양산시를 포함한 11개 기관이 참여해 2024년부터 2028년까지 총 사업비 344억원이 투입되는 대규모 프로젝트로 우주항공 및 방산 분야의 핵심 소재이지만 전량 수입에 의존해 오던 고성능 실란트 소재를 국산화하는 것을 목표로 진행되고 있는 사업이다.
이날 컨소시엄 관계자들은 “우주항공·방산용 실란트의 완벽한 기술 개발 성공을 위해 모든 역량을 집중하겠다”고 다짐하며 “이번 프로젝트가 양산시의 전폭적인 지원 속에서 추진되는 만큼, 양산시 지역 경제 활성화에 든든한 보탬이 되고 관내 관련 기업들에게도 실질적인 낙수효과가 이어질 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 강조했다.
나동연 양산시장은 “지금까지 해온 것처럼 앞으로도 긴밀한 협력을 바탕으로 우주항공 및 방산 분야의 초격차 기술 개발 확보와 실질적인 성과를 창출해 주길 바란다”고 당부하면서 “이번 프로젝트의 성공이 우리 시 지역 경제에 큰 도움이 될 것으로 기대하고 우리 양산시도 계속해서 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 약속했다.
