<브레이크뉴스 태백 = 김일웅 기자> 태백시가 역대 최대 규모의 예산을 투입해 지역 어르신들의 활기찬 노후와 든든한 일자리 창출을 견인한다.
태백시는 '2026년 노인일자리 및 사회활동 지원사업'에 총 168억 원을 투입, 전년 대비 205명 늘어난 3,667명의 어르신에게 맞춤형 일자리를 제공한다고 26일 밝혔다. 사업 규모만 총 37개에 달한다.
특히 올해는 어르신들의 오랜 경륜과 전문성을 지역사회에 환원하는 신규 시범사업 3종이 눈길을 끈다. 지역의 생활사와 문화자원을 기록·보존하는 '지역문화기록가'를 비롯해, '시니어 교통시설 서포터즈', '파크골프 러닝메이트' 사업이 새롭게 닻을 올린다.
기존에 호응이 높았던 사업들도 한층 내실을 다진다. 경로당 급식 지원으로 만족도를 높인 '경로당관리매니저' 사업을 지속하는 한편, 올해 새롭게 '톡톡케어팀'을 꾸려 지역 통합돌봄사업과 연계, 돌봄 사각지대에 놓인 취약계층 어르신들을 촘촘하게 살필 계획이다.
