경기도 고양특례시에서 구제역이 일주일 만에 재발하며 방역 당국에 비상이 걸렸다.
지난 19일 첫 확진에 이어 26일 인근 한우 농가에서 두 번째 양성 판정이 나오면서 확산 우려가 고조되고 있다.
고양시에 따르면, 26일 오전 9시경 관내 한우 농가(123마리 사육)에서 송아지가 침을 흘리고 식욕 부진 증상을 보인다는 신고가 접수됐다.
경기도 동물위생시험소가 즉각 긴급 검사에 착수한 결과, 당일 밤 11시 최종 양성 확진 판정이 내려졌다.
해당 농가는 지난 21일 이미 백신 접종을 완료한 상태였음에도 감염을 피하지 못해 충격을 더하고 있다.

방역 당국은 농림축산식품부 지침에 따라 27일 해당 농가 전체 가축을 대상으로 정밀 검사를 실시하고, 양성 확진축에 대한 즉각적인 살처분을 진행할 방침이다.
이번 발생 농가는 19일 첫 확진 농가로부터 반경 500m 이내에 위치해 있다.
주변 일대가 축산 농가 밀집 지역인 만큼 방역 당국의 긴장감도 높다.
반경 3km 이내에는 26개 농가에서 5,463마리가 사육 중이며, 특히 500m 이내에는 한우 농가 7곳에 611마리가 밀집해 있어 추가 전파 위험이 크다는 분석이다.
