대전광역시는 27일 오후 대덕특구 사이언스센터에서 ‘대전RISE 1차년도 지·산·학·연 성과교류회’를 열고, 지난 1년간의 혁신 성과 공유와 함께 2026년도 사업 추진을 위한 전략적 청사진을 제시했다.
이번 교류회는 대전시가 주최하고 대전테크노파크 대전RISE센터와 대전RISE 대학협의체가 공동 주관했다. 유득원 행정부시장을 비롯해 지역 13개 대학 총장, 시의원 등 관계자 100여 명이 참석해 대전형 RISE 모델의 안착을 확인했다.
행사는 지난 1년간 지역 전략산업과 연계해 추진된 맞춤형 인재 양성 ,지·산·학·연 협력 고도화 ,지역 정주 여건 개선 등 주요 성과를 종합적으로 점검하는 방식으로 진행됐다.
특히 지방시대위원회 이병헌 특별위원장의 ‘AI 기반 혁신 인재 육성’ 강연을 통해 급변하는 기술 환경에 대응하는 대학의 역할을 재확인했다.
이어지는 발표 세션에서는 13개 수행대학이 직접 참여해 현장 중심의 혁신 모델을 공유했다. 발표는 교육혁신, 성장협력, 지역활력 등 3개 분야로 나뉘어 진행됐으며, 대학별 특성을 살린 우수사례들이 차례로 소개됐다.
참석자들은 사이언스센터 20층에 마련된 전시 공간에서 각 대학의 성과물을 직접 관람하며 협력 의지를 다졌다. 시는 이러한 대학별 혁신 사례를 바탕으로 대전만의 차별화된 RISE 모델을 전국적인 모범사례로 확산시키겠다는 복안이다.
유득원 행정부시장은 “RISE 사업은 대학의 경쟁력이 곧 지역의 미래 성장동력이 되는 핵심 정책”이라며 “지·산·학·연이 ‘하나의 팀’으로 뭉쳐 지역 인재가 대전에 머물며 함께 성장하는 선순환 구조를 공고히 하겠다”고 강조했다.
대전시는 올해 1차년도 사업에서 도출된 평가와 환류 체계를 바탕으로, 26년도 2차년도 사업을 더욱 내실 있게 추진할 계획이다.
특히 성과 중심의 관리를 통해 지역 대학의 체질 개선을 돕고, 지역 산업 현장에 필요한 실질적인 인력 공급 체계를 강화할 방침이다.

Daejeon City Strengthens Regional University-Industry Collaborative Ecosystem with RISE Project
Daejeon Metropolitan City held the "Daejeon RISE 1st Year Achievement Exchange Meeting" at the Daedeok Innopolis Science Center on the afternoon of the 27th. The meeting shared the innovation achievements of the past year and presented a strategic blueprint for the 2026 project.

We will solidify a virtuous cycle where local talent stays in Daejeon and grows together by uniting the government, industry, academia, and research as a 'single team.'"
Daejeon City plans to further strengthen its second-year program in 2026, building on the evaluation and feedback system developed during the first year of the program.
