(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부평구가 3일 구청에서 차준택 구청장을 비롯해 부구청장, 국·과장 등 간부공무원 20여 명이 참석한 가운데 ‘2026년 제1차 청렴협의체 회의’를 개최했다고 밝혔다.
부평구에 따르면, 청렴협의체는 ‘청렴 부평’ 구현을 목표로 기관장의 청렴 의지를 전파하고, 부패 취약 분야 개선을 통해 청렴 시책 추진 동력을 확보하기 위한 기관장 주관 회의체다.
이날 회의에서는 지난해 국민권익위원회가 주관한 공공기관 종합청렴도 평가 결과를 공유하고, 2026년도 반부패·청렴 추진계획과 부패 취약 분야 개선 방안에 대해 심도 있는 논의가 진행됐다.
이와 관련, 부평구는 지난해에 이어 올해도 간부 중심의 청렴협의체를 이날회의를 포함, 총 세 차례 운영한다는 방침이다.
또한 별도로 구성된 실무자 중심의 청렴실무협의체를 적극 활용, 간부 공무원과 실무진이 연계된 이원 협의체 체계를 효과적으로 구축·운영하기로 했다.
이를 통해 청렴정책의 실행력과 지속가능성을 더욱 강화해 나갈 계획이다.
부평구 관계자는 “청렴은 행정의 출발점이자 구민과의 신뢰를 지키는 가장 기본적인 약속”이라며, “구민이 체감할 수 있는 공정하고 투명한 행정을 구현하기 위해 간부공무원부터 책임감을 갖고 청렴 실천에 앞장서 달라”고 강조했다.
한편, 부평구는 지난해 종합청렴도 평가에서 인천시 10개 군·구 중 유일하게 2등급을 달성했으며, 청렴체감도 1등급이라는 성과를 거둔 바 있다.
