【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=음성군은 한빛복지관을 여성친화도시 거점 공간으로 신규 지정했다고 4일 밝혔다.
여성친화도시 거점 공간(이하 여성 거점 공간)은 여성들의 관계 확장, 돌봄 공유, 경제활동 등 다양한 요구가 충족될 수 있도록 조성·운영되는 복합 공간으로, 한빛복지관이 음성군 내 다섯 번째로 지정됐다.
이번에 조성된 여성거점 공간은 한빛복지관 2층에 마련됐으며, 여성 소규모 동아리 및 소모임 공간과 여성 여가 공간으로 활용될 예정이다.
군은 공간 이용 편의와 프로그램 운영 활성화를 위해 상반기 중 방송시스템을 추가 설치할 계획이다.
이영민 한빛복지관장은 “한빛복지관이 여성친화도시 거점 공간으로 지정된 만큼, 여성들이 편하게 머물며 소통할 수 있는 열린 공간으로 운영하겠다”며 “소규모 동아리와 소모임, 여가 활동이 자연스럽게 이어지도록 프로그램 연계와 이용 편의도 함께 높여 나가겠다”고 말했다.
군 관계자는 “여성거점공간은 여성들의 소통과 역량 강화를 지원하는 지역 기반 인프라”라며 “이번 지정으로 접근성과 활용도가 한층 높아질 것으로 기대하고, 주민 수요에 맞춘 프로그램이 안정적으로 운영되도록 지원하겠다”고 밝혔다.
한편 군은 여성회관 여성소통방(1호), 포란재 파랑도서관(2호), 음성군 청년센터 청년대로(3호), 도토리 숲(4호) 4곳을 여성친화도시 거점공간으로 지정해 여성의 소통 공간과 역량 강화 프로그램 운영 공간으로 적극 활용하고 있다.
앞으로도 생활권 가까이에서 이용할 수 있는 여성친화 공간을 지속적으로 발굴·확대해 나갈 방침이다.
