세종시가 4일 조치원 행복누림터(복합커뮤니티센터)에서 정부 역점 사업인‘농촌 햇빛소득마을’ 사업 설명회를 가졌다.
시에 따르면 햇빛소득마을은 마을공동체가 유휴부지 등에 태양광 발전시설을 설치·운영하고, 발전 수익을 마을 복지와 소득으로 환원하는 사업이다.
정부는 오는 2030년까지 전국 2,500곳 조성을 목표로 햇빛소득마을 사업을 추진 중이다.
이에 시는 읍·면 지역 마을 대표를 대상으로 햇빛소득마을의 취지를 공유하고, 주민들의 자발적 참여를 끌어내기 위해 설명회를 마련했다.
설명회에서는 농림축산식품부 관계자가 직접 사업의 추진 방향과 절차를 설명했고, 참석자들과 함께 공모 방법과 준비사항 등에 대한 질의응답 시간을 가졌다.
시는 이달 중 정부에서 발표할 햇빛소득마을 공모에 즉각 대응할 수 있도록 부지 선정 등 사전 준비를 철저히 추진할 계획이다.
김하균 행정부시장은 “햇빛소득마을은 마을 자원을 활용해 얻은 이익을 주민에게 환원하는 시스템”이라며 “이번 사업을 통해 마을 공동체가 활기를 띠기를 기대한다”고 말했다.
