춘천시는 5일 한림대학교에서 강원대, 한국은행 강원본부, 강원테크노파크 등 15개 굵직한 유관기관 핵심 관계자들이 참석한 가운데 '제22차 춘천시 창업혁신협의회'를 열고 전방위적인 공모 대응 전략을 머리를 맞대고 논의했다.

중소벤처기업부가 주관하는 '지역거점 창업도시'는 올해 하반기 전국에서 단 10곳을 선정해 창업 인프라부터 정주 여건까지 파격적인 종합 지원을 쏟아붓는 핵심 국책 사업이다. 시는 강원연구개발특구 지정, 특화 창업 플랫폼인 'Station C', 탄탄한 대학가 인프라와 광역 교통망 등 춘천만의 강력한 무기를 앞세워 유치전에 쐐기를 박는다는 구상이다.
