【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 진천군 4-H연합회는 5일 백곡면 연주마루에서 청년 4-H회원을 대상으로 ‘청년 4-H 양성교육’을 실시했다.
이번 교육은 급변하는 농업 환경에 대응해 청년농업인의 경쟁력을 높이고, 지식 기반 농업경영 능력을 갖춘 미래 선도 인재를 양성하기 위해 마련됐다.
교육은 특강과 과제교육으로 구성됐다.
특강에서는 ‘생성형 AI를 활용한 농장 디자인 설계’를 주제로 최신 인공지능 기술을 농업 현장에 접목하는 방법을 이론 중심으로 살펴봤다.
이어 과제교육에서는 레모네이드와 우리 쌀 디저트(딸기강정) 만들기 실습을 진행하며, 우리 쌀의 다양한 활용 가능성과 부가가치 창출 방안을 직접 체험하는 시간을 가졌다.
김유진 군 농촌지원과 주무관은 “이번 교육을 통해 청년농업인들이 AI 활용 농업 기술을 습득하고 차세대 농업 리더로 성장하는 계기가 되길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 4-H회 육성을 통해 청년농업인의 지속적인 성장을 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다.
한편, 진천군 4-H연합회는 만 41세 이하 청년농업인으로 구성된 단체로, 지(Head)·덕(Heart)·노(Hands)·체(Health)의 4-H 이념 아래 청년 4-H 양성교육을 비롯해 공동과제포 운영, 수련대회 등 다양한 활동을 통해 농업·농촌사회를 이끌 전문농업인 육성에 힘쓰고 있다.
