이날 원주를 직접 찾은 연노련 방문단은 한국산업기술진흥원(KIAT), 한국환경산업기술원(KEITI), 국토교통과학기술진흥원(KAIA), 한국에너지기술평가원(KETEP) 등 국가 R&D를 쥐락펴락하는 4개 핵심 기관의 노조 위원장과 사무국장들로 꾸려졌다. 이들은 간담회 직후 강원혁신도시로 직접 이동해 부지 현황과 도로망 등 정주 인프라를 깐깐하게 살피는 현장 실사 일정을 소화했다.
